Always Portraits by Sally, Newborn, Children, Family and Wedding Photography

ABOUT

Hello! My name is Sally Rich. I grew up just outside Carrollton, MO. The daughter of a potter/painter and a carpenter/hobby farmer, both musicians. I learned from the begining that life is what you see in it. Raised in a small Baptist church, God and His creation has been the focus center of my life. The oldest of 6 girls, my parents were busy with everyday things, and I found that if taking pictures of our family was important to me, then I should just do it! I got my first “real” camera, a film 110, at age 10. I fell in love with photography then, but being practical at heart, never thought for a minute that I would ever be a professional photographer!

I married a prior service soldier who saw fit to buy me new camera equip every chance he got, and 5 years into our marriage, when he decided to go back into the Army, photography became a way for me to do my part to help support our family. Now, 4 years later, it’s become nearly an obsession to become they very BEST I possibly can!

That desire for perfection spills over into each and every session, and I can promise that you will get my very best effort each time I get behind the lens.I see EVERY session as an opportunity to build a lifelong relationship. I want my clients to feel comfortable with me, and love their images. I’m sometimes a fly on the wall, and other times very chatty, but this is all based on the readings I’m getting from whomever I’m capturing. I want to see the look that says, “you’re special” to you. After all, these are the way you’ll remember this time in your life, Always.

Thank you for letting me a part it,

Sally Rich

Sally, I love the work you do and the gift you have! I have a few questions my son will be graduating from West Point May 21st. This past weekend he went to one knee and asked one of the blessings of our lives to be his wife. It was ring weekend at WP and he made sure we were there. We live in Dexter, Missouri and don’t fly, what a trip lol. So all his friends can be there they are having the wedding May 22nd, rehearsal will be the 20th. Do you have those dates open? If so could you give me a ballpark figure, if at all possible we would love to gather the info and you be our gift to them. Of course as not to step on toes we would have to ask them, but you are my first choice! Thanks so much, Carolyn
